Dorothy Day Place is a transitional shelter for approximately twenty women that provides a crucial bridge between homelessness and permanent housing, case management, and ongoing support. Bethesda House is a transitional housing program that serves approximately twenty men who struggle with chronic mental illness and focuses on finding permanent housing, securing an income, and managing health and legal issues. Our goal is to provide breakfast (cereal and milk) for all the residents on a continuing basis. Holy Cross also provides Christmas presents for each resident and other gifts throughout the year to brighten the residence.
