Writing Letters to Legislators: When legislation is being proposed that affects the Culture of Life, the committee supplies sample letters and addresses for parishioners to contact their legislators after all the Masses. Information is provided as needed.

March for Life: On January 22 or a date close to the anniversary of Roe vs. Wade, parish students go to the Capital One Center for the Youth Rally and Mass with the Cardinal. The Adult and Family Mass and Rally at St. Matthew’s Cathedral is held on the morning of the March for Life to pray for an end to abortion and to promote a culture of life in our country. The March for Life in Washington, DC is a peaceful demonstration that is a witness to the truth concerning the greatest human rights violation of our time, legalized abortion on demand.
Maryland March for Life: In March, individuals, families, and organizations from around the state gather in Annapolis in support of the cause of Life. Events include a Youth Rally, a Mass at St. Mary’s, a march to the State House, a Rally at Lawyer’s Mall, and a Chick-Fil-A supper at St. Mary’s.
