This ministry assists with distribution of the Eucharist during Sunday Mass as scheduled. Daily Mass as needed. This ministry requires reverence for the Eucharist; ease in public settings; Catholic in good standing who has received the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist); being commissioned as an Extraordinary Minister of Communion after attending a special class on the Eucharist.
