Altar Servers participate in Mass in a very special and privileged way that puts them in the service of our Lord in the Eucharist.  Altar Servers gain discipline in mind, body, heart and soul as they assist the priest in celebrating the Mass. Moreover, Altar Servers discover a true belonging in the Church through their service.  Training involves a series of instruction that teaches the server the meaning of the Parts of the Mass, the importance of reverence, and the tasks required to assist the priest. Servers receive monthly schedules and need to arrive 15 minutes before Mass.
