Symphony Concert

Staring Into Eternity: Symphony Concerts At Holy Cross! Members of the Fairfax Symphony, the National Philharmonic, and other area orchestras will play concerts in Church on Friday, July 15, at 7:30 pm and Saturday, July 16, at 7:30 pm. The 70-piece orchestra will play Beethoven's Overture to his opera "Fidelio", Richard Strauss' "Four Last Songs" with soprano Linda Mabbs, and the Catholic mystic Anton Bruckner's otherworldly Ninth Symphony. Our music director, James Siranovich, will conduct. Admission is free, but a freewill offering will be taken up to benefit "OrchKids", Baltimore Symphony's extraordinary program for inner city youth.
